Hi
folks!
I
have
been
meaning
to
look
up
your
website
for
a
long
time,
and
recently
the
DMN
reminded
me
.
I
can't
believe
the
city
powers-that-be
needed
a
lawyer
to
remind
them
of
the
1st
Amendment.
I
don't
know
when
the
city
council
will
be
up
for
re-election,
but
I
think
it's
time
for
a
slate
of
grass-roots
candidates
to
run
against
them.
Am
I
just
being
naive,
or
are
there
enough
people
in
this
city
who
would
just
like
our
city
government
to
be
run
fairly
and
sensibly?
I
like
to
think
the
"Save
Our
Pools"
exercise
this
summer
was
some
indication
of
the
level
of
dissatisfaction
with
our
city
officials.
I
have
bookmarked
this
website.

Excellent
I'm
glad
that
someone
in
this
large
city,
has
enough
brain
and
will
power
to
speak
about
the
wrong
doings
of
this
city.
I'm
also
very
glad
that
you
are
showing
the
other
side
to
our
decision
makers.
Way
to
go.

Nothing
profound

Keith
Smith:
Hi,
Saw
your
site
mentioned
on
the
news
tonight.
Like
the
design
if
not
the
layout,
exactly.
And
LOVE
the
attitude.
Sweet,
isn't
it,
that
City
Hall
tries
to
shut
you
down
and
you
get
even
more
notice.
Think
those
guys
would
know
better....
But
they
are
politicians,
after
all.
Montgomery
Sutton:
I'm
going
to
do
my
best
not
to
be
rude
-
if
I
do,
please
accept
my
apology
for
it
in
advance.
I
personally
don't
like
the
mayor.
I'll
give
you
that.
A
lot
of
his
personal
beliefs
upset
me.
I'm
a
conservative
Republican,
so
yeah,
of
course,
they
do.
But
on
your
page,
it
seems
that
all
of
these
things
that
cost
us
so
little
individually
but
do,
or
will
do,
so
much
for
our
local
economy
as
a
whole,
are
"evil".
I
respect
your
freedom
to
voice
your
opinion,
but
it
just
seems
a
little
strange
to
me.
The
arena
will
jumpstart
growth
in
the
West
End
/
Uptown
area.
If
they
ever
get
their
30-story
tower
done,
the
sooner
the
better,
it
will
show
that
they
are
serious
about
improving
the
area.
People
will
pre-lease,
and
it
will
be
able
to
grow.
DART
will
serve
the
area,
helping
to
urbanize
it.
And
we
will
have
the
most
high-tech
arena
in
the
country
when
it
is
complete!
I
really
would
like
to
get
a
response,
though
I
expect
you
are
flooded
with
emails
(both
positive
and
negative).
I
do
hope
the
city
isn't
able
to
shut
down
your
site
-
because
that
is
without
question
overstepping
their
boundaries.
God
Bless
Mr.
Sutton:
Neither
the
Uptown
area,
Turtle
Creek
or
Oak
Lawn
needed
a
jumpstart.
I
live
6
blocks
from
the
arena
and
can
assure
you
that
stuff
was
being
built
and
purchased
long
before
anyone
considered
locating
a
new
arena
nearby.
There
already
was
a
DART
alignment
that
would
have
better
served
the
area
and
the
West
End
than
what
Hicks/Perot
got
the
council
to
approve.
Finally,
the
new
arena
will
seat
no
more
attendees
than
Reunion.
They
should
have
built
their
place
of
business
themselves
and
not
used
one
penney
of
public
money.

Hi

You

It's

I
live

the

wanted
to

just
what
the

were
for
my
district

When
I
found
a
map
of
the
district
boundaries,
I
had
to
laugh.
I
had
never
really
paid
attention
before,
but I'm
pretty
sure
that
years
ago
I
learned
in
school
that
gerrymandering
is
illegal...
Anyway...my
question
to
you
is
who
is
responsible
for
the
district
boundaries,
and
can
anything
be
done
to
make
them
logical?
I
think
I
read
somewhere
the
boundaries
were
going
to
be
changed
again
soon.
Thanks!

Wow!
My
husband,
saw
this
site
mentioned
on
TV,
he
emailed
the
site
to
me,
how
many
are
on
your
staff?
Do
you
do
this
full
time?
How
do
you
keep
up
with
all
the
dollars?
In
Longview,
TX,
for
lack
of
a
better
vision,
we
have
emulated
Dallas
...
even
to
the
point
a
few
years
ago
of
making
all
downtown
streets
one-way.
Of
course
when
the
mall
came
all
big
retail
went
to
the
loop.
That
was
the
last
nail
in
the
downtown
merchant
effort.
After
it
was
good
and
dead,
the
city
reversed
itself
and
made
the
streets
two-way
a
couple
of
years
ago.
Our
governments
at
all
levels
can't
seem
to
find
enough
ways
to
spend
our
money.
You
have
done
a
great
job
pointing
this
out.
Any
tips
as
to
how
one
would
start
this
effort
so
we
could
have
the
same
accountability
site
here
in
Longview
as
well
as
Gregg
county?

I
like
your
spirit...keep
up
the
good
work...when
your
chipping
away
a
very
big
boulder...it's
done
a
piece
at
a
time.

Your
comments
about
Judge
Creuzot
are
right
on
target.
Creuzot
is
smart,
articulate
and
honorable
--
a
rare
combination
among
elected
officials.
Keep
up
the
good
work.

You
have
a

I
have
been

for
25
years.
Something
like
this
is
needed
to
try
and
keep
things
in
the
open.

With
the
amount
so
large
($800,000,000)
to
the
city,
why
is
this
topic
of
little
interest
to
the
Managed
News
and
to
other
publications
that
keep
our
citizens
informed?
If
the
city
screwed
up
with
this
back
pay
issue,
why
aren't
more
heads
rolling
out
of
government
and
criminal
prosecutions
showing
up
in
our
courts.
If
the
amount
is
that
much, isn't
that
stealing
at
or
above
misdemeanor
amounts?
Thanks
for
keeping
the
vigil.

Millions
-
I
have
not
looked
at
the
web
site
for
a
while,
but
thought
I'd
see
what
was
up.
Unfortunately,
the
economy
is
too
good
for
anyone
to
raise
hell
about
this.
Also,
Belo
is
part
owner
of
the
thing,
so
no
good
coverage
will
be
given.
I
just
keep
thinking
how
much
the
City
of
Dallas
would
benefit
from
the
hundreds
of
millions
they
gave
away.
Oh
well,
little
Ross
needs
the
money.
Thanks.
