11/25/02  Dr. Bill Questions Music Poll Results

This outcome smacks of vote fraud, and the music should be reinstated until a full investigation can be completed!

I have it on good authority that 9 of the "NO" votes came from a computer registered to a "K. Nealy" and another 5 "NO" votes were cast for some elderly folks by their trusted State Rep. "Terri" something or another, because they were unsure about how to use email.

There has been no word from the DA's office about prosecution plans, but rumor has it that the Observer will soon be running an expose.

Editor's comments:  Although one North Dallas rich guy did try to stuff the ballot box, we were able to ferret out those "No" votes -- or the outcome would have been even higher for the "Aginners".   I just loved that music and wish our side could have been a little more creative in their balloting.  Where's Joe Thug when you need him?

It's a terrible thing when Dallas net surfers can't appreciate a little boogie woogie in the morning.  Instead of an opera house, we need a Rock N Roll concert hall where no amplified music is allowed and the preferred instruments are pianos and guitars and one microphone per singer.  We could name it the Jerry Lee Lewis Boogie Barn.

I want a Boogie Barn in the next bond election.  Let's get started right now demanding our rights as Texas Red Necks.  A Boogie Barn would bring a lot more business and sales tax to Dallas than an Opera House.

There are a lot more of us Red Necks in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area than there are Rich Cultured Elite (aka Our Downtown Betters).  It's just the ODB have more clout than we do at City Hall and everywhere else.   The results of the Music Poll are evidence that we are losing our Red Neck heritage.

It's time for a Boogie Barn.

Ward politics is the Devil's key to the soul of the city council.  It is how some council members got themselves in trouble in the past.  It is the bait that will get others in trouble in the future. 4/6/8
