Subject: Denouncement of Ron Kirk's association to individuals who instill and support violence to our law enforcement officials.

U.S. Senate candidate Ron Kirk's public embracement of "gangsta rap" musician D.O.C., a.k.a. Tracy Curry, the artist who helped usher in 1980s gangsta rap now commonly known as hip hop rap at a recent Hip-Hop Summit in Dallas is wrong, disgusting, and represents the wrong message to our youth.

The Hispanic community of Dallas County has long dealt with youth gang violence, high dropout rates, and youth at risk membership problems. We don't need politicians who embrace individuals who advocate and glorify the murder of law enforcement officers.

Anybody running for any type of political office does not have any business embracing himself with Mr. Curry who is a member of the gangsta rap group N.W.A. (Niggas With Attitude) who authored the song "F**k the Police."

The Hispanic community does not accept this kind of behavior and demands an apology from Ron Kirk.

Ward politics is the Devil's key to the soul of the city council.  It is how some council members got themselves in trouble in the past.  It is the bait that will get others in trouble in the future. 4/6/8
