07/15/02 Duncan & Thornton-Reese Debate
I watched them go head to head to
day on Channel 13. It brought up several questions:
1. Where did Thornton-Reese
get her doctorate, from a cereal box? She should come public with
that.
2. Did she just wake up from
a nap and not have time to clear her head?
3. Did she ever take a
public speaking class in High School?
I have not been impressed with her
confidence in herself when she is at the horseshoe. However, today's
presentation earns her an "F" in all aspects of what her supporters
expect from her. The poorest performer on a high school debate team
would have gotten a higher score!
How anyone wanting to vote for the best candidate could justify voting for her is beyond me! She still is living in la la land, as shown by her statement "I won the election by 16 votes and everyone knows that I didn't have anything to do with the technicality that created another election. The voters chose me". There is no way she is the best candidate for representing that district on the Dallas City Council. I challenge anyone to prove that statement!
