Mayor Miller, I think that you may never read this, but I have to say

I'm appalled to learn from your office that the Sanitation Department is handling the investigation of the dog that was being buried alive at the land fill.

It seems like this whole incident involves two departments,  Sanitation and Animal Control on site.  So why is Sanitation investigating two departments?

Also my information is that the City Manager himself ordered the body of the dog removed from the potential crime scene before the police could arrive.    The actions of the City Manager sounds like evidence tampering which is a crime in and of itself.

Does your office expect the public to believe that the Sanitation Department is also investigating the City Manager?  This incident is bigger than one department and needs to be treated that way.

If by chance you do read this, I would hope you would fulfill the promise of your election and hold everyone responsible accountable.  So far, I don't see that you have in this instance.

I want to believe that you have not been informed of the whole situation.   I would be glad to direct you to additional information that you may not have.

Ward politics is the Devil's key to the soul of the city council.  It is how some council members got themselves in trouble in the past.  It is the bait that will get others in trouble in the future. 4/6/8
