06/19/02  Racism at Hicks/Perot Arena?

I am an ex-employee of the American Airlines Center/Center Operating Company.  I was fired after 7 months of services.  

My position was in the personnel/legal department.  I brought to the attention of management areas of racism and unfair practices.  

I was terminated, but not until the Director of Human Resources, grabbed my arm and pushed me, almost choked me by trying to take the employee badge from my neck.  

That individual is still employed.  She has two Texas Drivers license, one lists her as a black female and the other one lists her as white. 

President, CFO, Ross Perot, Mark Cuban and Tom Hicks all know about this woman's 2 forms of identification, but she is still an AAC employee.  I understand I am the 4th black woman terminated by this individual, in less than a 2-year period. 

So, yes.  In this city, racism and politics go a long way.
