A few weeks ago I was collecting signatures on Franklin St., for the pay referendum. You signed the petition but spent an hour telling me and my partner, "I'd love to give you a raise but we can't do it. You'll have to show me where the money is.....".

Now, I see you that you were the front runner committing $43 million in future property taxes in return for the promise of a glossy 20 acre development near American Airlines Center. You spent about 2 hours that day convincing constituents there was no money for police and firefighters.

You're a sorry politician, scamming the poor folks of Oak Cliff. The lack of safety and protection of those citizens has become your fault. You couldn't look us in the eye the day you came to vote NO on the referendum.

I'll be one of the front runners leading the campaign against your reelection. 500 Oak Cliff Officers and Fire Fighters, take note.
