SUBJECT: Dallas Mayoral Election - Tom Dunning Mudslinging
Hello Lois:
Wow, that Tom fellow can really hurl the mud in an election. I thought he
once agreed not to do that. Guess we can stike him off as someone that we
can depend upon to keep his word during daily business activity.
I've been reading where the DFW Airport Public Safety Union (Police and Fire)
are not supporting him for the Mayoral election. I've also been reading in
the Ft. Worth Star Telegram where the TNRCC, The EPA, The FBI, the DFW
Environmental Protection Office (whistleblower lawsuit) filed against the Board
(wonder who Chaired that Board).
The Sierra Club, many of the Dallas Public Safety Unions, many of the AFL / CIO
personnel, many DISD Board members, and "ON AND ON" are not supporting
Mr. Dunning for Mayor.
It appears that Mr. Dunning stood by for years and did not stop the aircraft
deicing / glycol operations at DFW from polluting the nearby creeks and
waterways.
It appears, from what I read, that the DFW Board just kept skirting those issues
to the point that an Environmental employee, under Mr. Dunning, had to file suit
in order to get the Board to act on that serious problem (and others involving
buried fuel tanks under the taxiways). Failure to comply with serious
spill regulations carries with it servere fines and criminal and civil
liabilities. WOW !
Now, I hear that once again that Mr. Dunning's campaign has perhaps
utilized copyrighited material from the FOX / Channel 4 News Operations.
WOW !
It appears that Mr. Dunning first adored the Dallas City Manager and Chief of
Police. That was at the beginning of the Campaign for Mayor. Now, it
appears, Mr. Dunning has second thoughts about support of those City Manager
Staff and employees and will have to investigate further.
The conflict of interest between the Victory developers, the Arena operations,
and others will preclude Mr. Dunning from voting on City issues when those items
appear on the agenda. I'm not sure at all why Mr. Dunning should serve as
Dallas Mayor. It appears that he would be a "lame duck" from the
onset.
In general, it appears that Mr. Dunning does not even know what his campaign
manager is up to. He says he thinks he knows, but then is not certain.
I'm afraid that Mr. Dunning could spend, if elected to the Mayoral post, many
hours in court fighting litigation from many of the above recent
"casualties".
I'll continue to investigate just what that gentleman is up to next. Sure
glad I'm not one of his sponsors or or business backers. I'd be afraid
that he would hurt my reputation.
