NW Dallas Crime Report Network
We have several very active crime watch groups in the
Walnut Hill at Webb Chapel area. We have formed a network of reporting to
each other because what happens on one side of Walnut Hill is likely to happen
on the other side in a few days. Here are some reports of activity that
may be heading toward your neighborhood.
As Barbara Miller always reminds us, "Protect yourself and your property."
November 16, about
6:20 pm, an elderly man was driving alone, south
on Rosser.
When he approached the
Circle Bluff/Rosser intersection
(1 block south of Forest),
two African-American males
driving what looked like a jeep pulled in front of him, swerved and stopped
diagonally towards the curb.
The elderly man slowed so as not to
hit the jeep.
One male jumped out of the jeep
with a crowbar. When the elderly driver
noticed the crowbar, he sped and swerved around
the jeep.
The African-American
bashed in the driver's side window. The elderly man got away.

My daughter's car was vandalized yesterday morning
while parked on the 4000 block of Shady Hill. Her blue backpack was
stolen, which contained all of her notes from
school, a Geography book, calculator, etc. --
nothing of real value to anyone but her!
If anyone sees a backpack
that has been apparently dumped, please pick it up, and give us a call. |

Between 9.30 and 11.40 am
this morning we parked our jeep on
Courtshire outside our home.
I just discovered a passenger window
smashed in - nothing appears to be taken from the
car.
If you have any idea who was
responsible please let us know.
Also, a plaque that was attached to our front door was broken last
night.

More Police, or a paid patrol would have helped.
