09/30/03  Mary Lou Montes Zijderveld Reports

    Like Jesse Diaz from LULAC, I also want to go on record against Terrell Bolton getting any money from the city.  Should Bolton file in court for additional money, Dallas citizens should sue for the millions of dollars he cost the city through his incompetence as Chief of Police.   

Bolton should be ashamed of himself.  Getting his name in the press only lowers Bolton's name below what it was.  He has only HIMSELF to blame for what happened to him. 

    Funny how he is now concerned about his "good name".  Where was his concern for all those people he demoted?  This man caused more harm to our Dallas Police Department than any other chief in the history of Dallas.  

   He is responsible for the early death of Rollins whose name he ruined by demoting him after he mishandled an accident.  Where was his concern for this man and his family after he contracted cancer?  

     Bolton has no shame.  He should be man enough to just go away gracefully.  He would benefit more if he left Dallas and started over elsewhere.  People with character learn from their mistakes.  Unfortunately, Mr. Bolton continues to blame others.  

   As a parent, I never rewarded my child for performing poorly.  Likewise Dallas should not pay another cent to this man who has cost us so much money.
