I don't usually respond to anonymous hate messages when the writer lacks
the courage to sign their name, but for you I am making an exception.
It is my fervent hope that God sees me and keeps his hand on me every
day. Until today, I have been increasingly certain that God had
turned his face away from Dallas.
If Terrell Bolton did not understand the Chief of Police is ultimately
responsible for controlling crime in this city, he was not qualified for
the job in the first place.
This city is out of control because some people have been put in
leadership positions for the wrong reasons. I just heard the
President of the Black Officers Union say Terrell Bolton did a lot of
good and was a good man, but he came up short as Police Chief.
So, make your threats to someone who else. You knew enough about
me to write to me about this issue, so you should know I stand my
ground.
Since we learned Bolton was the likely "high ranking officer"
who assisted Al Lipscomb earn his $7,700 bribe from Nick Rizos
(former owner of a topless club), I have been calling for a new chief.
Your standing behind a man who could not do his job is as ludicrous as
my standing behind some White Woman who was not capable of doing her job
and did not improve in 4 years. I fired an employee last Fall who
never got the hang of her assignment in 4 years.
If Bolton's only qualification for his job is the color of his skin, he
was in the wrong business. |
