06/09/03  Back from Chicago

Editor's comment - Mary Lou is an airport screener and just spent several weeks in Chicago studying their methods.

As of June 4th, I have returned from Chicago -- no more going back.  I am just getting around to letting everyone know that I am home.  During my Chicago stay , I had no access to a computer, which is why I never wrote.  

Getting back, I find myself not having enough hours in the day to do all the things that need to be done.  Plus, I had to go back to work on Friday, which leaves little time to do anything.

I loved Chicago.  It is a beautiful and exciting city.  The people were all great.  

Working at O'Hare allowed me the to meet people from all over the World.  I will always look at my Chicago stay as one of the best times of my life.  I thank God for this opportunity.  

Greeting a soldier arriving home from the war was my favorite thing.  I will never forget the look on their faces knowing that they were BACK IN THE USA.  When I would always say "Welcome home" to them, I frequently got emotional.  

Just getting to welcome visitors from other parts of the world to our country was great.  

As you can tell, I could go on & on.   Have a GREAT week.
