I
know there are people like you out there, people who have such an
intense dislike for something, that it becomes evil, vile and serves no
good. I shouldn't be surprised or particularly upset about what
I've read on your site, yet I am. Nothing good?.....Never mind the
income that "sex clubs" help generate for the city through
conventioneers and other outsiders, who come to Dallas, in large part,
because of the variety of entertainment present. "Sex
clubs" included. Never mind that there are single mothers
able to put their children through private school, young ladies who are
putting themselves through college, that there is me, who is providing
nicely for my wife and child, all because of "sex clubs".
If you ever took the time to do some objective investigative reporting,
you'd realize that the majority of people involved in "sex
clubs" do not use or sell drugs and do not prostitute. Most
people in the club I work at, from managers down to the lowly.....what
was your objective term?....whores, that's it, do not want those
activities taking place and will do what is necessary to get rid of it
if they see it. We even force people we know who are too
intoxicated to drive too take a taxi home.
Greedy politicians on power trips, crooked cops and men of God who are
molesting our children, which is a far more heinous crime than drugs or
prostitution, and we're the plague. What's your opinion on
Catholic priest? Did you label Catholicism a plague on society?
Of course not, Catholicism is mostly good, it just has a few bad
elements. Too bad we can't be seen in a similar light.
I cherish the fact that I was raised to be fair minded and to not pass
judgement or jump to conclusions without all the facts. I pity you
that you evidently were not raised that way. I'm sorry, I just
jumped to a conclusion didn't I? Too bad I'll never find out more
about how you think, but after this terribly biased and unfair drivel I
just read, my conscience would never forgive me for reading more.
Then again, it might be wise to keep my eyes on the true plague.

Mr.
Gifford,
If you tell me it is your dream for your daughters grow up to take their
clothes off for strangers or do lap dances for perverts, I might take
you seriously. You have chosen to make a living in a business that
ruins neighborhoods (commercial and residential), not to mention the
human consequences.
If you could bring me a list of the businesses around you that are happy
your whorehouse is there -- other than the condom and convenience
stores, I might take you seriously. For every happy neighbor to
your whorehouse, I will bring you 10 businesses or homeowners who are
desperate to get your operation out of their area.
The West Dallas lead smelters generated revenue for the city and
employed hundreds of people. Unfortunately the damage the smelters
did to the entire area and the lives that were destroyed from the
pollution and the cost of clean up cancelled out any positive by
millions of dollars.
The negative impact of your operations on the NW Hwy area is visible and
real. A McDonald's could not even stay open near them.
I am not a Catholic. Pedophiles are everywhere and should be hung
by their feet whenever they touch a child. There is no comparison.
Although churches can be annoying with traffic and parking problems, how
many drug busts occur in a church parking lot? How many church
patrons leave intoxicated or hopped up and drive down the street and
kill two innocent people trying to do good?
Before the US Civil War, good people defended slavery in the South.
Good people defended the indentured servant system that put young women
in homes to be used as maids and concubines. After all, they were
fed and clothed and housed. After all, the cotton and other
agricultural products the slaves produced were good for the economy. Compare
your business to slavery. The end result is the same.
For every 1 woman who leaves your business unscarred, 100's others leave
damaged. It's not like they can do it very long because they stop
being young and firm after a point. Don't call your strippers
"ladies".
In a Law and Order episode last week, a woman justified
being a high $$ prostitute because she had to provide for her son.
Right!
If the strippers' kids are going to private school and getting a good
education, think how proud they are going to be in a few years that
Mommy took her clothes off and did lap dances for strangers so they
could go to private school.
