12/30/04 The Bubble People should
stay out of our business.
As Sharon Boyd and Jim Schutze called it, Beth
Ann Deadwood has now been exposed thanks to Dallas
Morning News' Emily Ramshaw. Hhow does
Emily do it within the halls of BELOW Newspapers Inc?
As Emily mentions in her
story, "the list of potential donors narrowed when
they learned their names would be disclosed through the public process." Of
course, the list shrunk. These types of people like
to quietly fund self-serving propositions and suck the life out of places like
Dallas, but don't have the guts to show their faces.
Deadwood's backers are a bunch of rich, self-servers (posing
as do-gooders) who probably have donated more
to museums and country club memberships than they have to causes that help real
people.
My message to Deadwood:
I don't care where you live now.
If you just moved from the Bubble,
then stay out of our business. I don't care if you own land in our city
limits; it doesn't entitle you to meddle for personal
gain. Please leave the politics of our city to the people
who really care and don't have a hidden agenda. You will NOT win.
We are ready and waiting with our sticks to push that Trojan Horse back
inside the Bubble.
I hope you bought your boxing gloves, Deadwood.
You're in the ring with heavyweights now!
