06/22/04 Balser wants to be your best friend.
This is Balser -- part everything and lots of love.
 |
| Look at that face!
Look at his big paws! As you can see from his paws, Balser will be a big dog. If you have never
had a big dog and don't have the patience to love and discipline them as they go
through puppyhood (lasts about 18-24 months), Balser is not for you. |
Balser appeared in my
neighborhood Friday. I tried to resist, but I had to rescue him when a woman kicked him.
Please note in the pictures below how well he mixes with other dogs. It was
maybe a one hour adjustment before he was playing and romping with the big boys.
A friend brought her 4 dogs over for play day. There was practically no
adjustment time at all. He will get along with any human or canine.
His contact with my cats has been friendly and curious.

My cocker is a
typical spoiled brat, but Balser ignored Sam's bad manners and has won him
over. |
He has his puppy teeth, so he is under 6 months and weighs over 25 pounds now.
He is healthy, eats hearty but not ravenously. Very affectionate and
obedient. He has learned "NO" quickly. He sits on the command of
"manners" like my other dogs. Think how much you can teach him.
Look at those
eyes, look at those big paws. I hope he can go to a home with another dog because he is
very social, and dogs should have a companion.
