06/07/04 Convention Business Not Likely to
Improve
DallasArena.com reads like Emeril got ahold of
it, said "BAM", and "Kicked it up a notch".
Way to turn up the heat, Sharon, loved
In her own words
with all of the
Miller campaign mailers. It's one thing
to know you've been lied to, and quite another to see
it in front of you in print.
I started a new job about three weeks ago, working for
a company that provides registration, and lead
retrieval services to trade shows and
conventions.
Currently, I am working a very large show in
Las Vegas. My next
show will be in New York.
In fact, almost all of the exposition management
companies that contract with my employer, hold their shows in those two
cities. We all know why, and know that
any additional taxes will strike the
death blow once and for all.
Having what might be called an inside
view of this business, I now
believe there is little hope of improvement for
Dallas conventions and trade shows.
