03/25/04  So why is Lill's PZ guy trying to thwart development in Oak Cliff?

3/26 Congratulations to Oak Cliff on a win at the P&Z - DMN'S report:  It's a warm reception for Chili's as panel OKs sign despite rules .

It's increasingly clear Neil Emmons, Veletta Lill's appointee to the Plan Commission, is anti-business and against redevelopment in Oak Cliff.  This chubby twit, who rents a condo in a gated community off Turtle Creek, is completely off the deep end.  It's bad enough that he plays his little dirty games in Oak Lawn, but now he's focused on Oak Cliff.

Here's my theory as to why Twit Emmons is being so ridiculous about the new Chili's planned for Pinnacle Park.  The cubby Twit is out of his mind jealous of Councilman Ed Oakley.  Emmons was part of a little faction that temporarily controlled the Oak Lawn Committee.  Councilman Oakley was part of the other group that rightfully has the OLC back on track.  Whenever Twit Emmons can take a shot at someone who has crossed him or is more successful than him (which is almost anyone), he does so with gleeful spite.

This time, Twit Emmons is hurting an entire community with his pettiness.  Please read the following from the Fort Worth Avenue Development Group, and then do what you can to help them continue the redevelopment of Oak Cliff despite Twit Emmons' obstacles.
