Recall the large parking garage built beside Reunion Arena?

Thanks to the Hicks, Perot & Kirk gang, Reunion is seldom used anymore.  Let's use the city/bond moneys available for the homeless shelter to put walls, partitions and plumbing in a couple of floors of the parking garage and convert it to a homeless shelter. 
 

		The city owns the land and structure already.
		It's accessible to public transportation.
		Except for the Ray Hunt and Belo interests, no one except would take exception to the homeless being located there.
		The location is sufficiently isolated from homeowners and residents.
		It's close to other services for the homeless.
		Carol Reed could be enlisted to negotiate a rent free deal for the facility similar to what she did for the Trinity Fest event!

If memory serves me correct, the Hunt interests were instrumental in having the parking garage built in the first place for "future needs" that have as yet to materialize.   It sits there completely vacant 98% of the time.
