02/26/04 E-mail sent regarding stand on Patriot Act

Dear Councilman Blaydes:

Lucky for me , I was in a position to hear your speech without interruption.  Your words were moving and inspiring.  So few people are willing to show their passion for this country and patriotism these days.  It's not politically correct.

It is hard to believe NINE council members  have forgotten 9/11 so soon.  It's even harder to accept the racism and pandering that was verbalized by some of those cowards, as well as the statements from organized mob representing a campaign that must be financed by our enemies.

Bill, I would appreciate your furnishing a copy of the speech for DallasArena.com readers . It is so important that others get to read your words.  Of course, they will have missed the passion in your deliverance, but the words themselves have so much power.

I cannot tell you how grateful I am for your courage and eloquence.
