02/26/04 Nine council members shame
our city!
If you listened to the 2/25/04 council meeting, you
heard a string of wackos blatantly lying or extremely confused about the Patriot
Act. Their outrageous claims were only exceeded by race-baiting comments
from Beat that Indictment Fantroy, Brain-Dead Thornton-Reese and Send Me Some
Money Loza.
Loza talked about the bravery of some woman in the audience wearing a chador and
the fear she must experience just going to the grocery store. She's living
in Dallas, wearing a religious garment of her choice. I live in Dallas and
usually wear a visible Cross. It's very unlikely something will happen to
her in Dallas for wearing a shroud in public. What do you think would
happen to me in the Mid-East if I went to the grocery store bare-headed wearing
a visible Cross?
To have the clowns on the city council pull a stunt like they did on Ash
Wednesday only makes it the more heinous. |

Gary Turner:
The council should be using their time to solve local
Dallas problems, not wade into the deep waters of
national politics.
Hopefully,
those in the know in Washington D.C. will be aware
this vote came from a group that can?t even keep the landscaping plants
alive in the median of our streets
or in any Dallas parks.
They cannot even increase the police force needed to effectively
deal with the crime problem in the nation's
leading crime city.
As the gang problem grows throughout
Dallas, so does the hypocrisy of the city council.
|
Nine council members offered aid and abetment to the
enemy. That makes them traitors.
We already knew Thornton-Reese, Hill and Fantroy are racists, but they showed
something much worse on Wednesday. The comments made by Rev. Charles
Stovall (who I have much admired in the past) were so far left and anti-American
that you have to wonder why he stays here. He made me ashamed to be a
Methodist.
KTVT 11 showed Councilman Bill Blaydes weeping as he defended the Patriot Act.
If you heard his entire statement before and after his tears, you would have
been moved to tears yourself.
Blaydes reminded the cowards and racists on the council and in the audience that we are at war -- a
war that was brought to us. He reminded the cowards and racists on the
council that we have men and women of all colors serving in Iraq and Afghanistan
to stop the Muslim fanatics. |

Walker:
What
would we do without you to keep us informed.
I am 77
and lived through
WWII.
I
appreciate your
recognition
that
we did
do what we had to
do.
Sadly,
we have lost our values, our backbone, and our honor.
Where do
those of us
who
want a change back start?
Or,
are we at the point that all we can do is pray?
I feel
betrayed by our Mayor. I didn't always agree with her stands, but I felt
she stood behind those
who
elected her and worked to the best of her ability for them.
I am
trying to keep others on the council straight and understand exactly
where each stands.
I am
very impressed with Mr Rasansky, who I met at the first No Jones Tax
Meeting, and am relying on you to help me with this.
You are
very necessary to me and many others.
I
pray for you daily and hope some day to meet you face to face. God Bless
you. |
Blaydes reminded the cowards and racists on the council that the restrictions of the Patriot Act are
nothing when compared to the regulations our parents and grandparents lived
under during World War II.
There were people claiming the Patriot Act would encourage racial profiling,
particularly toward Muslims and people from the Mid East. Well, duh!
Who was it who killed over 3,000 people on September 11th? The people
behind the Muslim murderers knew who they were attacking -- a Christian-Judeo
nation with way too many weak and selfish people with no discipline and short
memories.
Mitch Rasansky pointed out the absolute fraud being perpetuated by the people
behind the campaign against the Patriot Act. We don't know who is funding
the movement, and it is a well funded movement. I have a guess! |

JC:
The bring down the "old boy"
(read: mostly White
male) mentality is and will be in full swing and will not abate until all
the closet capitalists are in charge.
Fantroy, Reese, and the wrecking crew
preach their own brand of racism which is publicly accepted by the mostly
liberal media.
While the Patriot Act does have
faults which should be addressed, the tribal
agenda of the nine council members shows exactly where this town is headed.
That said, your article is right on
target. |
Gary Griffith made some important points, as well. He was very bold and
frank. He told the crowd he expected to see many of them when an
anti-Israeli resolution comes before the council.
The comments from Lois Finkelman and Veletta Lill dealt more with the procedure
of the council getting outside their charge of responsibility. Lill did
mention her husband is an American Airlines pilot. Whenever she speaks,
it's always about her or her family. Still, I am grateful for their vote,
even if I don't believe their sincerity.
Our Mayor's speech was as hypocritical as her vote. She was in favor of
this thing until she saw it might put her String Thing Bridges at risk.
When the dust settled, the vote was Bill Blaydes, Lois Finkelman, Gary Griffith,
Veletta Lill, Laura Miller, Mitch Rasansky voting NO to the paid for crowd and voting YES FOR AMERICA.
The rest of the council racists and cowards voted to denounce the Patriot
Act and enable those who would harm us.
The anti-Americans in the audience cheered when the vote was posted.
I have resented people calling the WW II generation the "greatest generation"
because I thought they played the cards that were dealt them and did just what
they had to do. If my baby boomer generation was in the same
circumstances, I thought we would rise to the occasion. I was wrong!
The Muslims are right -- we are selfish, superficial, self-absorbed and weak.
Worse, those who still believe in right and wrong and love of country are
ridiculed. We have let the worst element in America take charge of Dallas
and of this country.
It was particularly ironic to have Charlotte Mayes taken from us the same day
the cowards and racists on the council took their anti-American stance.
Charlotte Mayes was a flag-waving patriot who loved her city and this country.
Her sons are Dallas Police. She was one of the most color-blind people I
have ever met. She looked at all people as fellow human beings.
Charlotte Mayes really was a delightful person to know.
Can you imagine what the council discussion would have been if Donna Blumer and
Charlotte Mayes were sitting around the horse show when Rev. Stovall compared
President Bush to Adolph Hitler? Bill Blaydes chided him later and said "I
turn my back on you, sir." Charlotte Mayes would have been out of her
chair saying something a lot stronger.
There was a time that I would have expected the same of Laura Miller.
One good thing about the foolishness at City Hall is the cowards and racists may
have doomed Our Mayor's String Thing Bridges. Not too cool to blast a
Congressional action when you are begging for federal dollars!
No one said Loza, Fantroy, et al were particularly smart, but I thought Sandy
Greyson and Ed Oakley had some sense. Greyson is "Miss Transportation" and
Ed Oakley has been more obsessed with the Trinity River Project than Our Mayor.
They were the two votes that put this foolish resolution over the top.
Cowards who didn't open their mouths!
Greyson gets her nickname of "Housewife Extraordinare" back. How could
anyone ever take her seriously again? Oakley was shoring up his alliance
with the racists on the council and selling out people who have trusted him.
I still want to know who is bankrolling this anti-American campaign, and why
Limousine Liberals can't understand they will be the first taken out when the
Muslims fanatics take over.
This was a sad day for Dallas.
