01/23/04 A Harmless seed By Jorge J. Torres Jr.
Submerged in Earth, Where it lay Growing, growing, growing For that great day
Though it died It gave good fruit.
There it went, on its way, Incased with security It entered the bay.
Days came, Days went, Nights scheduled, Nights planned, Breaking the line Where it was banned.
Through and Through It fell asunder Evil?s offspring was on its way
It rolled from hands to head, It?s not a poison they said.
Between the skull That wretched germ lay
Dreams and hope Now decay. |
