Thornton-Reese's comments towards her fellow council member Mitchell
Rasansky were racist, period.
For Dallas
southern-sector political analyst Rufus Shaw Jr. to create linkage to
Mayor Laura Miller for Dr. Thornton-Reese's latest tirade against
Dallas' three Jewish council members (Mayor Laura Miller, & council members
Ron Natinsky & Mitchell Rasansky) is not a simple leap rather a giant leap
and profoundly disappointing at best.
There is almost
complete silence from Dallas' African American leadership on this issue and
further validates my belief a double standard exists when racist attacks
like this originate from some members on Dallas City Council. I applaud
councilman Rasansky for taking a stand on this issue and remind councilman
Fantroy open government always prevails.
