05/28/05 Fantroy is the clear choice for District 8.
In every city, there is an Al Lipscomb, a guy who loves to keep his district or area poor so he can ?champion? their causes. He sells them a pipe dream while enriching his own pockets at their expense.
A guy like Al Lipscomb usually has high name recognition and does very little to affect change in the area which he represents.
Lipscomb still has no strategy for improving District 8 or Dallas as a whole, and he never will.
According to The Dallas Morning News, he thinks he ?Stands against the establishment and for the downtrodden.? How so?
Old Al says he can ?connect the dots?. Huh? So can we.
Old Al claims he ?understands what the district needs.?
What is that? Jobs, lower crime, economic
development, new affordable housing stock? Where has Old Al
been? Fantroy is delivering economic development and new
affordable housing stock.
Even in the Managed News article, the majority of Old Al?s listed accomplishments were in the 1970s? That was 30 years ago. They left out some of his key accomplishments:
Old Al needs to connect THOSE dots!
I?m surprised Al LIpscomb doesn?t have a campaign contribution from the Dallas Society of Pimps, Prostitutes and Drug Dealers for their increase in revenue streams while he was in office.
Laura Miller was with
Fantroy at a recent groundbreaking. SO WHAT?
Why wouldn?t Fantroy be present at a major future job creator for
his district? Why wouldn?t the Mayor be there?
Old Al is one of the
main reasons that the District 8 community
was in such a dismal state before the development
started. Has he been associated with any progress in the last 10 or 20 years?
I?m still waiting to hear what plans Old Al has for District 8 other than bleeding it dry for his personal gain. Or maybe that comes after he gets his campaign contribution from the Smoke and Mirrors Foundation.
Don?t be fooled! |
