I support Chief Kunkle and think it is low down for a professional journalist to use an official Blog to write what the Dallas News would not allow in the daily paper. I hope it carries some type of liability.

Chief Kunkle is the man fighting crime and taking the Dallas Police Department in a good direction. I attended a breakfast meeting just Friday morning and listened to Deputy Chief Brown talk about the new programs and how they are being effective.

I do not give a ham sandwich who Chief Kunkle marries or dates as long as he does not use his sworn official capacity to get a date. Life is too short to be unhappy. I know first hand, having been on life support 3 days in July.

Police Officers have an even bigger chance of a short life based on the danger of the job and David Kunkle still goes on call and patrols the streets of Dallas.

I support the Chief and will not allow any seeing him out having lunch or dinner with a woman change that. In my professional capacity, I dine with men all the time and share a bottle of wine or have a drink. It does not lead to an affair. It's business.
