Joe Tave is a
father, grandfather, community activist, educator – college and public
school, and a member of a church in District 6. He is qualified,
honest, trust-worthy, people-centered, dedicated to the youth and
elderly of our city, civic-minded, goal oriented, solution seeker, and
will provide District 6 with the vision, leadership and representation
needed to help Dallas schools reach greater heights in the 21st
century.

Joe Tave will:

children FIRST- above politics and economics, etc.
- Fight for
fair treatment of teachers and support personnel
- Represent
the people of District 6

Insure conservative expenditures
of taxpayers monies
- Maintain a
message center and hold periodic meetings to keep constituents
informed
- Work to build
better educational programs beneficial to Carter, Kimball and Molina
high schools and other schools that educate District 6 youth
- Make sure that
no school in District 6 is neglected
- Work with
local governmental entities, organizations, and ecumenical groups to
complete current and future education projects
- Propose
solutions to the Drop-Out problem
- Explore the
utilization of school facilities for adult basic education
- Promote
community friendly schools
- Initiate Board
policy review and revision
- Promote high
standards for G & T, Honors and AP Courses
