03/31/06  Hot-Sheet Motel Plagues Neighborhood        

Recently, I became an avid reader of DallasArena.com, and find it great to get a non-tainted point of view. 

I am a Parkdale Neighborhood resident, who is looking for some exposure to a problem.  As Casie Pierce has told DallasArena.com readers, Parkdale is a neighborhood on the verge of a boom.  

However, we have a small problem.  The Parkdale entrance is tainted by a filthy "Hour Motel" where I have  frequently witnessed wrong doings, and would like to shed some light on it.  This motel is called "Motel Couples" and rents for hourly at around $19.  I will spare you the details of the activities I have witnessed.  I have written to all members of city hall with no success.  So, I am really reaching for some exposure/assistance with this issue.

Below are pictures of the “Hot Sheet” hourly motel ‘Lawnview Hotel’ (Motel Couples), that is plaguing the Parkdale neighborhood just 4 east miles of downtown.  Our neighborhood association has expressed many times that we would like to see the motel shutdown/torn down, as it brings nothing but criminal activity to the area.  Again, I really appreciate your help with shedding light on this situation!
