Open Letter to Dallas Police
Department
We are still having problems
with 1038 N. Dwight (Arcadia Park in City Council
District 6).
We are really frustrated with these people.
They constantly break the law. They play
loud music, scream and fight. Teenagers
are in and out during school hours, constant
traffic in and out.
They constantly stare at members of my
family when we are outside.
Our motivation for calling the cops has extinguished.
It seems the people at 1038 N. Dwight
have the upper hand on the law. They are
made up of over 100 people. They have a
lot of thugs that support them. Almost
everyday, a new batch of thugs shows up.
Almost everyday,
a new vehicle is seen at the residence. These
people do what they want when they want.
This is happening throughout
Arcadia Park. Thug after thug,
street after street.
Residents can be found, frustrated and tired of the same old
thing: We call the police, the police
show up. If we call the police,
the police don't come on time.
If we call the police,
a few people are arrested, and a few weeks the perps are back out.
After calling the police 2 dozen times,
the situation is still the same. The
thugs are running wild, doing what they want when they want.
They show us they don't
care about authority. they have guns and that
we should be afraid.
The conclusion is that people start
saying, why call the cops nothing changes.
If the Dallas
Police Department cannot control one gang infested home, how can they
handle a gang or thug infested neighborhood? We
seem to be fighting a losing battle.
The bottom line: We are
losing. And the Torres family has lost,
because we are moving out of the neighborhood.
